I woke up last night about 1am with dharp stabbing pains accross my pelvis. I have been up with my daughter past few nights with sick bug so just kept turning over to try and get some sleep. Although i could still feel the pain.
Carried on through this morning but not as bad. Stopped for about an hour then restarted. Again accross my pelvic area and down insides of thighs and up back when i am sitting. My pain threshhold is very high so to me i am not laying around screaming in pain. I rang the midwife line who said theyd put me in touch with my midwife but this was 4 hours ago. I dont know if this is normal or not, maybe its stretching but i dont remember this with my first. No bleeding etc just the pain. Tempted to call docs but then they will just do a call back in an hour. Kinda dont want to make a fuss as dont want to be a drama queen but unsure what to do, also what is normal/not etc!

If I was you I would be chasing the midwife up and explaining the amount of pain your in. If not id be ringing the gp or early pregnancy unit and seeing if they can scan you to reassure you. Could be absolouley harmless and just stretching but could be something else id defo get checked. Hope all is ok xxx

Thankyou.i rang her on tuesday as she ge didnt label my bloods properly so got to have them again this week, so was ringing today to chase her up again but thought id express my concerns now. But she hasnt called back at all. I rang the unit this morn and they said you need to be referred by a midwife and it closed at 12pm today. Seems a bit crap this whole experience, my last midwife was fab.
I am put off going up hosp as i had lack of movements and bleeding at 20 weeks with my last one, all was fine but i was made to feel like an inconvenience to them because it turned out nothing was wrong. The doctor even then got a room full of students in because i had perfect veins on my belly for an operation (not related to pregnancy etc) and he demonstrated on me what they would do. That was the only time i went in for a scan because after that i felt like a complete embarrassment for wasting their time which is what i feel like now

Nothing to do with your situation at all but I've had 2 losses and I don't care at all about going in when there is nothing wrong it's so much better to be safe and reassured. After my 2nd loss they told me there was no retained product but I asked for a further scan anyway they probably thought I was a waste of time but I needed it for closure and my mental health. I'm sure everything will be fine but I wouldn't be able to chill out until I knew. Your midwife sounds useless which doesn't help xx

Thankyou. Rang midwife unit and she said that it sounds normal and its just everything moving about. If i get bleeding to go a n e. Now waiting from a call back from GP see if they can be a bit more helpful. Pain has got worse now it hurts to sit or touch my pelvic area. I had a scan at 7 weeks which showed a possible anomaly in my sac which is very rare and can burst and hemorrhage so worrying if its something to do with that.
