Advice for a friend?

My friend had a friend come to her with a problematic situation and she asked me for advice to see if I knew, honestly I'm just not sure what to say to her or the answer to her questions. She came to me as I have a one year old and therefore thinks I know everything about babies, conception, pregnancy etc and she doesn't know what to say to her friend.

As far as I know she has been with her boyfriend for a few years but over the past few months she has been having problems with him, just niggly things that are making her not want to be in the relationship. They only use condoms and the other day when she picked up the wrapper she realised there were small pinholes going through them, she doesn't know how long this has been going on and was wondering if she could of fallen pregnant from this.

She HAS split up with her boyfriend and has cut off contact with him and said she will file a sexual abuse claim should she fall pregnant but she was wondering what the chances of her actually being pregnant are?

Yes, you can get pregnant with that. The condoms tend to break during sex, but not always. There is a max 25% chance during any five cycle (but considerably lower in most cases).

That is awful that he did that!! Was she on any other form of birth control?

Testing three weeks after they last had sex is pretty definitive.

A court case recently found that a woman who had consented to sex with a condom and the man had tampered with it or not used it was rape. She could go to the police if she wants to

She wasn't on any other birth control unfortunately and yes she's aware ! Thankyou, unfortunately I don't think she wants to take it that far, I think she just wants to move on from it all if she's not pregnant.

Has she kept any evidence? I’m afraid it would be very hard to convict someone in court, let alone build a case. I hope everything goes ok for her
