I had it with my daughter who is now 3 and a half, and having it again in my pregnancy. Its really worthwhile in my opinion for peace of mind and also to find out the sex of the baby at 12 weeks. I had it done at the fetal medicine centre on Harley St and its £400. I'm due to go back on Monday for the second scan and to get the results.

@Cas90 hello fellow Surrey dweller!! :)
We're going to get it done at our 12 week NHS scan at Kingston...we were told we can just ask for it and pay on the day. Or there are def places you could go otherwise, we just decided to wait until the 12 week mark (already been for 2 early scans!)

Another one who did it at the Fetal medicine centre on Harley Street, worth every penny. Paid £400.

Thank you so much everyone and hello fellow Surrey-er! I have had a look online and the closest one to me is £450

We had one about week 14 due to high screening results from NHS 12 week scan, cost £400. They did say the further you are on, the less likely it is that the test will be inconclusive so I wouldn't go too early (think it starts from 10 weeks), but would definitely recommend.

I had one in Kent and it cost £500 but included a scan done by a foetal medicine consultant so I didn't really mind the extra cost and couldn't be bothered to travel into London!!

It's cheaper at the Foetal Medicine Centre by £50 and they give you an extra scan there too, but by the time you've added the cost of 2 travel cards to get there for the scan and the blood test, it's cheaper to get it done locally for £450. And easier.

I had one done two years ago at a clinic on the research park by the RSCH in Guildford.

Posted too soon - think I paid £400ish in total

I had both of mine done at babybond (usually based in mothercare). Was £400.
