Hi guys!

New time Mum and it's probably been spoke about a lot but I can't stop thinking about how big my child's features and how massive and long her/his forehead is! I don't mean protruding I mean genuinely big and long! everything seems quite big her lips, nose, chin! for a 13 week scan it's the clearest I've personally ever seen! but I can't help wondering why her/his forehead is like that and why everything is so big!? Not in a vain way but I am just genuinely curious because with everyone else's scan they all seem so small and petite and she/he just isn't lol!

Is it normal for the forehead to look so big and long? Or should I be worried?

If you google image "13 week scan" you will see that a lot of the babies' heads look oddly proportioned. That's because they're not finished yet....their foreheads often look big. Don't fret! Have a google and see.

One of my twins had a head and tummy that was consistently right on the top end of the scale. It did worry me, but it turned out that was just him. 🤷🏼‍♀️ He's now 2y4m and still has a fairly large head and tummy, but it's not hugely noticeable - he's just unquestionably going to be 6 foot 3 and chunky. 😄
