Morning sickness getting worse

So my morning sickness began at 5 weeks 3 days, it’s just nausea no vomiting atm, I’m 9 weeks tomorrow and today I’ve felt so ill all day, and feel like I’m going to start vomiting! has anyone else had a similar situation? I got in my head I wouldn’t vomit as I hadn’t so far!! Help :( I can’t eat barely anything, I feel sick morning noon and night and I’m struggling to do anything productive!!

Ah I have been there and it's horrible!
Mine was nausea until 10 weeks and then vomiting until about 16 weeks.

Things that helped me
Ice lollies
Flat coke
Rubbery cheese
Rich tea biscuits
Freezer bags and baby wipes for when you get caught off guard

Basically be prepared for your diet going to hell BUT it is only temporary and one morning you will waken up and feel nearly 100%! Try not to get too depressed, I used to cry every day! Stay busy, it stops you thinking about being sick. I'm 22 weeks now and look back and think 'goodness it wasn't really that bad' (when it bloomin was)
If you can't function day to day go to your doctor, we don't win prizes for staying off medication, there's lots of things out there to help.
Good luck xxx

Thankyou so much!! I have a phobia of vomiting too which makes it so much harder :(

Thankyou so much, I’ve lived off things like that the last 4 weeks already! I feel like I’m a terrible mum barely eating! but thanks so much for sharing, it’s so much better hearing people experience the same xxx

Do they know that you are pregnant? My surgery would prioritise me for an emergency appt when I was suffering like this. Or walk in clinic or A&E (this as the advice from my GP, it is an emergency when an expectant mother is not eating and drinking properly). Are you managing to keep properly hydrated?

Kaceymariaxx · 01/08/2018 09:11

Yes they do! I’m going to the walk in clinic in a minute but they usually have a long wait! yeah I can keep drink down but not much food xx

I ate my weight in mints, it was the only thing that remotely helped. Trebor extra strong or softmints, I used to have to suck on them to get through the day. You have my sympathies, MS is horrible.
