Sex during pregnancy

NC for this. I'm 6 months pregnant and have had a few worries regarding baby. Haven't had sex for 4 months and finally have the go ahead from midwife (yay!)

I have a pretty big bump (which weirdly I am self conscious about) and am worried about sex. I'm worried DP doesn't find me attractive. I'm worried as I am uncomfortable on my back but don't enjoy doggy style as DP is very large and hurts me (not intentionally of course).

Can anyone give me any tips on sex positions during pregnancy and how to feel less self conscious of my big belly? Thought about posting in 'sex' but thought the pregnancy board would have more people on. Hope that's ok and hopefully someone can help!

Thanks.

You could try spooning. It’s gentle and relaxing and might help ease you back into it.

You could also try you on top once you feel a little more confident in your body again :)

Thanks stephi - I feel SO sexy in myself. I feel gorgeous and love my body in the mirror. I feel awkward in front of DP. He's never given me reason to, I just can't get used to my big belly and being naked in front of him...

Doggy style
You can't see him and he can't see the bump. Also it leaves you free to move like mad
Loved this when I was preggers lol

Nina maybe try under the covers to start with then in whatever position you feel comfortable and then you don’t have to worry about him seeing the bump?
