Hi ladies just after some advice please. I’ve had 2 miscarriages my doctor won’t do any tests due to me only having 2 not 3!
I’m currently 6 weeks pregnant again and so worried I’ll lose this one too.
Ive been reading up on ladies that’s have had successful pregnancies due to taking low dose aspirin.

Have any of you ladies taken it and did didn’t your doctor advise you too or did you do it yourself?

Congratulations! I've also had 2 miscarriages, can't help with advice but when I next become pregnant I am going to take 75mg Aspirin a day. There is no research or evidence that such a small amount has negative effects where I've read and heard of alot of positive stories so surely it's worth it. I plan to take it, hope somebody can advise you. Goodluck xx

Hi @Trinny80

I was prescribed aspirin at my consultant appointment following my 12 week scan. I was told it was for a number of reasons including my previous mc and my high bmi. Do you have your booking appointment date? it may be worth a discussion with your midwife.

I had IVF and am 13 weeks pregnant. The clinic advised me to take the low dose aspirin from the start of treatment (FET cycle), and continue taking it. I think it is good for everyone to take, providing you don't have a blood clotting disorder. So best to check with doctor first.

Good luck with your pregnancy.

Very similar to purplesmiler above I was told at my booking in appointment to take one 75mg aspirin a day. This is partly due to a previous miscarriage and partly due to placenta issues I had in a previous pregnancy.

Thanks girls. I don't have my appointment with midwife until the 15th August.
I bought some of the aspirin today and thought I would just take them and speak to the midwife when I see her.

I've read it doesn't cause any harm. I don't have any blood disorder that I know of
