Most hospitals have a list of things you ll need for your hospital bag on there website.

Use the search tool on mumsnet, I just typed hospital bag and there were tons and tons of lists from years ago. I just made my list by choosing what I would actually use from other people's lists (I wouldn't personally take makeup with me) but it gave me ideas like blinkers for the night time.
