Any advice? Reassurance scan did not reassure.

😞 Just that really.
Has anybody been in the same boat?
I had my last period on 9/6/18. We decided to ttc so I had my implant out on 15/6/18 and have not had a period since.
The first day of my missed period (assuming having the implant out did not affect cycle) I tested negative. This was 7/7/18 then neg again on 9/7/18
Took another on 13/7/18 as I still had not come on and had 3 bfps very thick obvious lines.
By those dates I should be 7 weeks now.
It's baby number 3 and we booked a reassurance scan the other day on complete impulse, no concerns we just thought it would be nice to see it so it felt real. At 7 weeks I thought there would be a heartbeat. She said she could see sac and fetal pole. Possible some pulsation that's the start of a heart beat but no heart beat. She said it measured tiny. About 5 weeks and to go back in 2 weeks. Now I'm worried I'm going to misscarry. Could it be because I had my implant out after my last period? Has this happened to anybody else?

It may just be too early. When I went at 5 plus 4 there was just an empty sac. When I went back at 6 plus 1 there was a tiny little heartbeat. I thought I knew my dates but baby was measuring smaller. Is it possible for you to return in a few days? Was it an internal
Or abdominal scan? I know you must be worrying as I was hugely but sometimes it is just verging on the side of too early. Sending you hugs x

Sounds like it may just be too early. You might have ovulated a bit later than expected due the implant coming out - that would explain why you didn’t get a positive test until later than expected either. At five weeks the heart is only just starting to form so it would be quite normal not to see a heartbeat yet. Fingers crossed that your next scan shows a nice healthy seven week pregnancy!

Going by your dates, I think you didn't ovulate until very late and 5 weeks seems about right.

My reassurance scan was not very reassuring either. Went back a week later and everything grew and showed a heart beat. They also readjusted my dates although not sure how that is possible. I understand why we all go for reassurance scans (I mean I had one done too) but in the end I wished I had not as the whole experience just cost money and nerves....Did they give you any measurements of sizes?

I think you're pregnant but not as far as you first thought.
Keep positive, go back in two weeks and I'm sure things will have progressed
