Gorgeous scans ladies, so glad all is looking good!

Lilimum4 · 03/10/2018 19:19

Ladies I've decided that watching Russell Howard is not a good idea when you are pregnant

LilacIris · 03/10/2018 20:25

Such lovely scan pictures @Cakelaur

Athers666 · 04/10/2018 09:54

Feeling a bit down today. Baby kicks are causing me so much pain! I feel really bruised on the inside. Baby keeps getting bigger but the bump sort of doesn't so he's all squished and is constantly whacking the sides! Waaaaaaah roll on December 😂

Lilimum4 · 05/10/2018 07:38

Ladies I'm 9 weeks today yay but I'm after advise did you ladies in early weeks feel bruised after a busy day and the next day too. I get a feeling of pressure on my cervix if I've been on my feel for more than a few hours. Is this normal or should I worry

HidCat · 05/10/2018 09:34

@Lilimum4 I regularly get that feeling and have done throughout. If it's anything more than discomfort and doesn't ease after some rest it doesn't hurt to ask your midwife though.

Athers666 · 05/10/2018 09:44

@lilimum4 I did get the pressure feeling as well, I'm sure i posted about it as well as I was also worried but it turned out to just be one of those things. I remember how horrible it was so I feel your pain. As Hidcat says, worth maybe calling the midwife or GP if it becomes unbearable just to get checked out although in my experience they don't really do anything! I hope you feel better soon x

Alicejj8x · 05/10/2018 11:47

20 week scan this afternoon! I am so nervous

LilacIris · 05/10/2018 14:06

Thinking of you @Alicejj8x and sending good scan vibes.

Eastend2015 · 05/10/2018 15:31

Good luck @alicejj8x

Just got down a bag of mat wear from the loft. Forgot how comfy mat jeans are- My tummy is so sore from 3 days constant retching. Feels like tempting fate but I’m trying to shake that thought from my head!! It included a bag of mat bras from last time I was pregnant and I MC the week after I bought them Sad

Athers666 · 05/10/2018 18:00

@Alicejj8x Ooh, good luck with the scan today xx

Alicejj8x · 05/10/2018 18:16

Baby all healthy happy and perfect
Cannot wait for our gender reveal tomorrow to find out if we're team 💙 or 💕

@Alicejj8x beautiful scan pictures xx

Athers666 · 05/10/2018 21:32

Great news @Alice!

Daffodil77 · 06/10/2018 07:10

Glad the scan went well @Alice. Do you have any inklings on gender? I'm 27 weeks now and really want to know! I can't decide whether my bump is all upfront like boys tend to be or more all over like a girl.

@lilimum I definitely remember having that same feeling too so not necessarily a cause for concern. It's just so hard not to read bad things into every twinge at that stage.

We ordered our furniture and car seat yesterday. Starting to get a lot more real now. I think I've been thinking about it in terms of being pregnant and what we need to do to prepare. It's only know I'm starting to think about it in terms of a baby actually being here and us being a family.

Lilimum4 · 06/10/2018 09:55

@Daffodil77 I think I know what you mean. I have kind of separated the pregnancy with a baby. For so long the focus was getting pregnant and now it's all about staying pregnant for me. DH has no problem seeing the baby at the end but I'm struggling with it.

Alicejj8x · 06/10/2018 10:47

@Daffodil77
Nope nothing lol today is the day we find out at our gender reveal party. I cannot wait to know
Ahh bless you but how much of a lovely surprise will it be to find out when your giving birth :) xx
