Oh no, the little tinker @Cakelaur! Too cute.

HidCat · 23/09/2018 17:59

@Cakelaur gutted, you've got a cheeky one in there lol.

Athers666 · 25/09/2018 09:23

How is everyone? X

Patienceofatoddler · 25/09/2018 09:48

Morning @Athers666

Keeping quite well here - 24 weeks today so officially viable I believe. Smile Plenty of movement which is reassuring.

Hope everyone is keeping well.

Really enjoy reading this thread and seeing how everyone is progressing.

Alicejj8x · 25/09/2018 11:17

@Athers666
Apart from this nasty cold all good.. how are you??
19 weeks tomorrow!! Next Friday is 20 week scan proper nervous xx

Cakelaur · 25/09/2018 11:31

Morning @Athers666 doing well over here! 28 week midwife app this morning. Wriggly little man in here! Hoping he's all good. Had a naughty 3d scan that we have to do again next Sunday in the hope that he's not facing the uterine wall again. But I'm good news the sonographer seemed to think my placenta had moved a bit!!! So we may be heading back towards a natural birth!!!

Athers666 · 25/09/2018 12:56

@Patienceofatoddler Glad you've been getting lots of movement, whoop whoop!
@Alicejj8x 20 week scan next week, yay, I know how nerve wracking it is though, I was in a right state in the waiting room before mine. Started saying to my DH oh can we just go home?! Luckily he didn't let me😂 Hope your cold gets better soon.
@Cakelaur oh great news about the placenta!
I'm doing pretty good, although struggle to sleep at night due to little feet kicking me for hours on end, but, I'm ok with it as it means hopefully that he's alright in there. Can feel his head, bum, elbow etc poking out of my tummy now at times which is amazing but also freaky!

HidCat · 25/09/2018 18:05

Hi ladies, glad everyone is doing well. Things are good here too - just got over a nasty viral infection but 2nd trimester is feeling good now so fingers crossed it lasts lol.

Alicejj8x · 26/09/2018 09:35

@Athers666
It's so nerve wracking isn't it :) thank you xx

Patienceofatoddler · 26/09/2018 15:26

Now it's feeling real - Maternity leave confirmed with work.

9 weeks this Friday until I go off on 3 weeks AL before Mat Leave.

Gosh I really cannot wait!

Beck1988 · 26/09/2018 15:48

8 weeks on Friday for me to leave work! Counting down the days! Hope everyone's ok. Got my 28 week appt next wed and got whooping cough & flu jab the same day aswell as blood tests so will have bruises all up my arms! Lol x

Alicejj8x · 27/09/2018 09:01

Am 19+1 today and at the weekend I was feeling a lot more movement than I am now :/

I know the Mw told me at my 16 week appointment not to worry about movement until 24 weeks but I can't help but panic lol

It's just gone abit quiet in there lol! My last 2 private scans have said on my notes anterior placenta so I am sure this could contribute?

Beck1988 · 27/09/2018 09:57

@alicejj8x I would try not to worry. I felt the same around that time baby is still so small that they can hide in there! I've also got a anterior placenta an altho I feel him move now it's not as much as I did with my daughter, depending on how he is lying. X

Athers666 · 27/09/2018 10:18

@alicejj8x Oh don't worry too much. My placenta is posterior and I didn't feel the regular movement until after 20 weeks and even then there were quieter days. If you're worried do check in with the midwife but the little tinkers just like to scare us I think!
Off to the hospital later to get my Anti D injection, pain in the bum but got to be done I guess. I have to wait in the sonography waiting room but won't get to see my little Cabbage today, boo.

Lilimum4 · 27/09/2018 12:04

Hi ladies how are you all.
I'm off for a scan on Sunday and really hoping for the best should be 8+3 scared out of my tiny mind. After my mmc I don't find anything reassuring at all. Keep your fingers crossed for me please xx

Athers666 · 27/09/2018 12:06

@lilimum4 Not surprised you're terrified! Sending you best wishes and hoping you have a sticky bean in there x

Alicejj8x · 27/09/2018 13:38

@Beck1988 @Athers666
Thank you both so so much :)

I am sure baby is all
Ok in there and like you say still has space to hide xxxx

Patienceofatoddler · 27/09/2018 14:26

@Alicejj8x I was the same.

I was advised not to worry about movement changes until 24 weeks although this may be more likely as 24 weeks in the biggest viability milestone so realistically before then not much can be done.

I'm feeling so many more movements now at 24 compared to 20-21.

If your concerned of course phone for advice but try not to worry to much - Baby is really small still.

Alicejj8x · 28/09/2018 15:12

@Patienceofatoddler
Thank you so much

Feeling movement today so I guess just a slow and quiet few days :)

CobaltRose96 · 28/09/2018 16:03

Had an early gender scan yesterday and, despite being convinced it was a boy and all the old wives tales saying boy... she's a girl! Grin

Athers666 · 28/09/2018 16:12

@CobaltRose Oh yay, congratulations!

Alicejj8x · 29/09/2018 17:31

Ladies I've got my whopping cough & flu jab tmo

I will be 19+4 tomorrow but nhs says 20'weeks for whooping cough? Has anyone else had this before 20 weeks or shall
I talk to nurse tmo?

Lilimum4 · 30/09/2018 07:45

It's scan day and om terrified wish me luck ladies xx

HidCat · 30/09/2018 07:54

@Lilimum4 good luck at the scan today!

Cakelaur · 30/09/2018 08:54

Good luck @Lilimum4 hope all goes well.

I've got my 2nd attempt at a 3d scan today. Let's see if the little buggar is up for being looked at!! Had a horrible dream. Pregnancy dreams are the worst!! Baby kept stopping breathing and I had to keep opening my belly up and refitting a tube to his mouth and shaking him to get jump start his breathing!! Whilst all my friends were out shoplifting! 🙈
