What’s normal - pregnancy leg pain

I’m 35 weeks with number 3. Thought i’d been there and done that with all pregnancy symptoms but apparently not.

Down my left leg I am experiencing constant dull pain in my buttock when I sit or lie down and then numbness when I stand up. If I lie on my right side I get nerve pain in my left leg, and if I lie on my left side I get that constant dull ache again in my buttock and the top of my leg.

The calf of my left leg is frequently cramping so tightly that the pain is extraordinary and doesn’t completely go away when I stretch it out. If I touch my calf now the muscle feels almost temporarily damaged from cramping so intensely.

What is this and how can I stop it?

Sounds like pgp with added leg cramps, you could try a support belt in the day for pho and regularly stretching your legs and ankles and sometimes putting them up to help with the cramps. Dehydration can make the cramps worse. I've heard suggestions of eating bananas or salty food to help with them but don't know if that works. If your leg cramps you need to stretch your foot upwards as soon as you feel it coming on and rub the muscle. Still if anyone has any better/different suggestions I'm also interested, they are quite painful.
