Symptoms at 12 weeks

Hi All

I am 12 weeks today and interested to know what others’ symptoms are.

I have had sore boobs, nausea, exhaustion / fatigue, clear discharge (sorry tmi but relevant) since I got my BFP around 4-5 weeks.

In the last week or two I have felt better, less tired and less sick, but other symptoms have remained. This last few days, however, I have been feeling sick again and today (first day back at work after a week off) I really feel like I am so tired I could go to sleep at my desk. It’s a countdown to the end of the day to be honest! I’ve also been feeling faint possibly due to the hot weather and had a few headaches. Slight cramping. Irritable a lot too.

I had a small amount of spotting (literally one bit, one time) on Saturday but nothing since thankfully (touch wood)

Symptoms are somewhat reassuring especially since I need to wait til I’m 13+5 for my scan!

Hello

I'm 11+4 and some of my symptoms have gradually eased over the past week. My boobs hurt less and I've had more energy (I suffered badly with fatigue!) but I had some light cramping at the weekend and still get light headed very easily.

My scan is on Friday but the easing of symptoms is a bit scary although apparently it's normal going into the 2nd trimester. The wait for that first scan is a strange time!

@TinyMarie yes I think it is normal for symptoms to ease which is what I thought was happening to me but they seem to be back!

You are lucky you have a scan close to 12 weeks. Good luck!

It is strange how things are different for different people. My nausea kicked in at week 9 after thinking I'd escaped it and some days are worse than others.

Good luck to you too Smile

I've been worrying myself about this! My symptoms seem to have dropped off a lot but don't know if it's cause I'm working now which I wasn't when found out and I'm using my time instead of sitting round all day. I still get some cramping but today I've felt gassy in my lower abdomen but not actually been physically gassy! I'm convinced something is wrong 😞. I'm 11 weeks tomorrow scan not until 9th.. feel anxious!

@emma911030 I think it’s normal for symptoms to come and go. My symptoms calmed down a bit at 9-10 weeks and now they have come back a bit but they say symptoms start to die down towards end of 1st tri due to placenta taking over etc. And everyone is different - some people don’t have any symptoms full stop. I am a worrier too so understand but chances are everything is fine.

My scan is 10th! Good luck x

@emma911030 This does seem to be the norm although I'm worrying a bit too. I had exhaustion from the very start and then all of a sudden, I was fine! I've had a few days where I just don't feel pregnant at all.
I've just been reminding myself that some women don't even realise they are pregnant for a long time and feel completely normal so a dip/lack of symptoms doesn't automatically mean there is an issue.
Good luck for the 9th Smile

I'm 13 weeks tomorrow (based on early reassurance scan) or 13+2 based on LMP. This past week I've felt worse - exhausted, headaches and nausea. From what I've read I'm supposed to be feeling better. Got my '12 week' scan tomorrow.

AliceRR · 30/07/2018 18:12

@CrabbyPatty good luck with your scan! Seems you had to wait a bit for yours too. I thought about early scan but didn’t and then seemed like I may as well just wait as I got closer to 12 weeks...
