Hey I'm currently 39+ 5 and started with regular contractions last night between 9-2am ish ( I managed to fall asleep around 12:39 but kept waking with contractions and backache).

Contractions were about a min long and coming every 2 1/2 mins.

We tried to call MAC but no answer so assuming they were busy and not wanting to get DS up I persevered and made myself go to sleep.

Woke up this morning achy, little bit of plug loss but nothing.

With DS he was born 37+3 I woke up lost everything at once on the loo dashed to hospital and was 7cm he was born within 6 hours so I have no idea what early labour or the real stages are like.

Any advice please? Many thanks x

If you're comfortable now and baby is still moving well etc id say, try and relax prepare yourselves.
Make sure you're packed ready to go, you get some rest and eat well as you never know when they're gonna kick back in.
Your body is preparing itself, our bodies respond to stress so if you're stressed out it could slow the process so just chill out and let nature take its course.
Good luck. X

Thank you for your reply.

I'm spending this afternoon baking with DS and will probably snuggle up with a film with him later. I also spoke to my grandma who put me at ease a bit but said it could go on for days however i need to just think positive.

Thanks
