I had my son In January and was rushed into hospital at 38 weeks with severe pain in my right side. Turns out I had an 8cm cyst on my ovary and spend a week on morphine. Doctors said they had never seen this so late in pregnancy. In the end I was induced at 39 weeks and had a natural delivery but had to have an epidural because of the cyst twisting (contractions completely disappeared because it was so painful) I had a check up 6 weeks after and was told that the cyst was still there but was only 3cm and nothing to worry about.
I am now pregnant with my second and 21 weeks in. All the way through I have just been told they won't do anything about the cyst and basically ignored through all of it. I'm so terrified the same thing is going to happen and even my midwife has just said it will be fine. I don't know who to speak to to get it sorted out and wondering if anybody has been through a similar thing?
