For the last week or so I've been very tired, feeling a bit nauseous and weeing more than normal.

I have a DD who is 9 months old and only had one period since having her. I'm on the pill but changed from the mini pill to loestrin 5 weeks ago. I doubled up on my last pack for convenience. No idea when a period should be.

DTD 3 weeks ago (and approx. 1x per week prior to that) - is it too early to be experiencing symptoms if I am?

I had awful morning sickness with DD and was medicated which is why the nausea has made me question but my boobs don't hurt and that was the first sign with her.

I know the only way to know for sure is to POAS but I don't think I'll sleep tonight! Someone talk some sense in to me please?

Could be but might also just be hormones from changing pill on the beach of doubling up?

I had symptoms (woke up, felt sick, knew straight away!) from 3+5 so wouldn't say it was too early though...

You could be up to six weeks pregnant. The least pregnant you would be would be four and a bit weeks - not too early to test.

Even in an absolutely ideal cycle there's a max 25% chance of pregnancy (no pill etc...).

Did you POAS?

Is it wrong I'm a bit disappointed? There's no way we could afford another child right now, and I couldn't care for DD if I was ill like I was during her pregnancy but my heart sank a bit when I saw the negative test.

I think it's a fairly natural reaction. I had a pregnancy scare when my little one was just under a year and even though it would have been beyond terrible timing for many reasons, I felt disappointed. I know others who had the same experience. It helped me decide I'd like another but not at that time! Which was good as we could start taking about it. Think of the positives!

@but unlikely thank you, that is reassuring to know. I've known I wanted another since I cried packing away her newborn things soppy bitch but we'll have to stick to the original plan.
