After much waiting and then finding i have a giant fibroid that was probably (along with being 41) stopping me from being pregnant we have finally done it! Ironically found out day before appointmant with infertility specialist. EDD 1st feb so am 5 weeks. Scarily I seem to have a bump already. Have two teenagers already and don't remember showing early with them. Don't think I can be more than 5 weeks as was doing ovulation tests and know I ovulated in april. Anyone else show early? Someone said it is probably because my womb is pushing the fibroid up and this makes me look bigger. Sounds feasible. Any thoughts?

Thanks for link and all the congrats and advice. Must admit did vaguely think about twins posibility. Can't wait for scan now. Think it's probably a combination of knackered muscles, not being the thinest person anyway and the fibroid (which is attached to the top of my womb, outside not inside womb). It was a bit scarey when i put on a top this mrning and there was a bump not just my usual flabby belly!

hi gingermumi
i have 2 dds and and 13 wks pregnant i also knew i had a fibroid which made concieving this lo lengthy but i had an early scan and there was just one,

i am huge, already wearing maternity trousers and look about 5 months am assuming this is due to the fibroid, they put me under consultant care (instead of usual mw care) because of fibroid but they dont seem too worried still only had 1 mw appt so far and next scan not till 17th july

so you should be fine take care hope all goes well
