Breast pain 'moving around' in pregnancy?

Is it normal for breast pain to 'move around' during pregnancy?

I mean, when I first found out I was pregnant it was pretty much just my nipples that hurt. A couple of weeks later it was the skin around them too.

Now I'm eight weeks and it's only the tops and sides of my boobs that hurt now (and hurt BAD). I was panicking earlier because I thought they didn't hurt at all, but after feeling around I discovered the pain had just moved! Ouch! Grin

Is this normal? I had a miscarriage in April so everything is a worry!

I had this with mine. Sometimes just the nipples would be sore, sometimes the whole breast would feel like it was full of bees! I also had one breast more painful than the other with one really tender spot. Went to GP and was told it was all perfectly normal.

They settled down a lot after the first trimester and have been quite well behaved since.

I would say that if you’re worried a quick trip to the doctors will hopefully set your mind at ease, but boobs definitely go a bit wacky during pregnancy.

I'm 21 weeks now and still have sore boobs, some days sides, some days I'll get shooting pains in my nipples that make me grab them - regardless of where I am. I've also gone up two cup sizes already..
