I'm nearly 19 weeks pregnant. I'm 18, I have non stop getting headaches and there really bad and I have red blotchy skin on palm of my hands. I called 111 and they said they was going to send a paramedic out but never came. Could this be serious and should I go up the hospital?

I'd call 111 again and say no ones come, they should have your last call on file and will be able to tell you whether or not to go to hospital. Hope you're ok x

Call your midwife for advice. If it's outside the ante-natal clinic hours, call the labour ward for advice.

I got a call from paramedics they said they wasn't going to show because there really busy and would be a long wait but if it gets any worse to call 999 but I feel silly ring 999 over a headache even if it is really bad

Can you call triage? Or your midwife?

I only just got told from my last appointment witch wasn't that long ago I have to ring a number to find out who my midwife is. I tried to ring the number when I got back from the hospital and it never went through have been planing to try again but been sleeping through out the day because of the headaches mostly all the time

I've also got dry skin that's peeling on my face in little patches. I don't no what's wrong with me. I am obviously a bit worried as this is my first pregnancy.

There are lots of things that can cause severe headaches in pregnancy including migraines when you’ve never had them before, but also things like high blood pressure. Itching can be an issue with your liver which needs assessment ASAP.

I would personally go to A&E and get checked out since this could be a medical emergency and you don’t know how to contact the labour triage system. I think it’s important to get checked over.

Either 111 again or a walk in. You need your blood pressure checked.

Are you ok OP?
