Seriously, all I can do at the moment is sit on the sofa in my (substantial) underwear, occasionally waddling through to the kitchen for snacks like some kind of fucking massive lethargic elephant seal 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

This is not a drill, it fucking rained. For a good 30 minutes... And I went outside and played football with my son like a lunatic almost in tears as the cool air filled me with glee.
Proceeded to play in the park and run around while I had the chance. Now that the rain has shifted away I've come home feeling like a new woman!

It's forecast to rain tomorrow morning and I will go and sit in it again and get soaked.

ResurrectedGoldfish · 27/07/2018 18:37

The next step is shaving my head.

It’s raining here too. I’m so happy! My internal body temperature hasn’t cooled yet but it’s getting there.

I’m also tempted to shave my head. I have thick dark hair that has been in a bun for weeks. Loose hair just instantly sticks to my neck. Gross.

South East and we had a proper thunderstorm. I was in the middle of doing a clients nails and we just agreed it was time to go stand in her back garden. I literally had steam coming of my arms as the rain hit them 😂 absolute bliss.

Though I must say, ladies, considering how hormonal and grumpy and hot that you all have every right to be, you are one hilarious bunch and have really given me the giggles. Keep up the good work!!!

MinisterforCheekyFuckery · 27/07/2018 21:40

Well, it rained for a total of 3 and a half fucking minutes here today. Woop-dee-fucking-doo!

They've forecast proper rain and thunderstorms all day tomorrow. My mistrust of the Met Office runs very deep so I daren't get my hopes up. But if it does properly rain then my poor neighbours may well be traumatised by the sight of a heavily pregnant woman stood in the garden stark naked and weeping with joy.

They'll get over it Grin

I slept! For more than an hour in a row! Feels amazing

WhirlingTurkey · 28/07/2018 10:47

It's positively chilly here this morning. Cloudy with a cold breeze. The car thermometer said 15°C. We went for a walk this morning and I wore boots, a jumper, and a thin jacket. I've still got my jumper on in the house. I feel so much better for it! Praying it lasts, although I suspect that's wishful thinking.

I hope others are getting a break in the heat too.

Almostthere15 · 28/07/2018 13:01

We had some rain overnight and my mood is about a million types better. Still struggled with sleep but I think that's inevitable with a 38 week bump.

It's very windy and that's very welcome!!! Still quite warm but 21 degrees is very different to 30.

Hope everyone else is having some relief

SiolGhoraidh · 28/07/2018 16:44

Thunderstorms all day here. I've spent the morning sat in the garden in my pants and vest being rained on and loving it. Even the bump seems perkier and is having a wriggly day.

dingdongdigeridoo · 28/07/2018 17:42

My bump is moving a lot more too. Must have been sweaty and horrible in there! The house has finally started to cool and feel a bit fresher.

Is there a country I can move to where it’s just 21 degrees or so all year round? I’m really loving the sun and cool breeze combo.

MinisterforCheekyFuckery · 28/07/2018 19:03

Rain on and off all day here and a lovely, cool breeze. I feel almost human Smile

Hjkillas · 28/07/2018 19:07

I know right! The rain dance worked 😂

I can fill my lungs with this air..not that humid shite we've had.
