When did your OH feel kicks?

I am almost 23 weeks with my first. I feel movement all the time, sometimes quite hard but mainly just what feels like rolling about. No obvious kicks yet, just what feels like maybe faster rolling?

I'm almost 25 weeks with my first and I can feel them from the outside sometimes if I put my hand in the right place.

Husband felt first kick at around 22 weeks but now I’m 26 weeks, he is feeling them all the time. Check on your 20 week scan report maybe as if you have an anterior placenta this can apparently make them harder to feel?

Mousefunky · 26/07/2018 12:11

20 weeks but it was a fluke. I’m 25 weeks now and I still struggle some days to feel them from the outside, the little bugger always wriggles away!

Italianshark · 26/07/2018 14:12

My placentas at the back. I have probably had a handful of "kicks" which id say are movements that make me go "OO" lol so hard to explain it.

My BMI is 28, ive only gained 5lb, so maybe its just a case of finding a bit of patience? Smile

i was 20 weeks when OH felt for the first time :) myself i felt a teeny kick with my hand at 19 weeks. He does huge kicks now at 23 weeks !

First baby and everything is normal with my placenta etc.

Claireyskillz · 26/07/2018 21:17

21 weeks - ish
About 3 weeks after what I now know to have been the first flutters
:)
First pregnancy. Have anterior high placenta.

Stargirl90 · 27/07/2018 09:26

My OH hasn't managed to feel a kick yet. I have felt movements since 17 weeks and kicks since about 20 weeks. I am 22 weeks now and feeling kicks almost every day :)

Spudlet · 27/07/2018 09:30

Around the 5-6 month mark I guess? They made him really squeamish though Grin I liked feeling them but he never did - I used to freak him out with them Grin 😈

Italianshark · 27/07/2018 13:56

Since writing this post, the feelings I've felt have become double as hard so I am now calling them actual kicks haha. I feel movement almost all day long and have since about 18 weeks but nothing that took my breath away but literally today and yesterday, I've felt it a good few times a day! Now it's just for OH to catch them haha...

I am 28+2 and my DS is a ninja. He wriggles all day and all night had an occasional snooze then wriggles again! My partner has been feeling him move from 18 weeks. You can see it all the time I love it it is very reassuring.

Dandelion1980 · 27/07/2018 20:42

I’m 21 weeks and my husband has been able to feel some big kicks for the past week. It’s hot and miss though- there’s been a lot of times where she kicks and I grab his hand then she goes all shy

ER1212 · 27/07/2018 21:15

I'm 22 weeks also with my first, anterior placenta. Can feel the kicks myself and we can see my top/belly move slightly when he does it but still not strong enough to feel! I think it'll come soon!

unicornchaser · 27/07/2018 22:00

Just this week @ 26 weeks dh felt his first kick.
I have an anterior placenta so only started feeling things myself bout 3 weeks ago! Still can only feel low down or high up though

orangejuicer · 28/07/2018 20:35

*ER1212 I am in exactly the same position as you. Glad to hear it's not just me, hoping for stronger/more frequent kicks soon!

Penguin34 · 28/07/2018 20:42

I'm 33 weeks and my husband doesn't want to feel it 😥

meow1989 · 28/07/2018 20:53

22 weeks, I'd felt them since 16 weeks. For a few weeks it was just the odd kick he'd catch then became much more frequent!

Hjkillas · 28/07/2018 21:44

This time round I felt first movement at 18 weeks and oh felt them at 19. Few days before my anomoly scan but I was very frustrated that he couldn't feel them all the time only the very strongest ones x

mineofuselessinformation · 28/07/2018 21:47

I found both my dcs were water babies and were particularly active when I poured water over my bump in the bath. 🙂

Britta1 · 29/07/2018 09:46

I first started feeling flutters at 19 weeks, DH has just felt kicks for the first time this week at 24 weeks. The look on his face was priceless, he was so amazed by it! He probably would have been able to feel earlier but every time she was kicking and he put his hand on my bump she stopped!!!
