top shop ones are pants - no, Top shop ones SHOW your pants. I've also got a pair from Seraphine (bought them online). Look great but stay up for about 5 seconds, unless you use a belt.

Best pairs I've got?
One 3/4 length pair from Noppies which are mega comfortable and have adjustable elastic around the hips (which is why they stay up).

Also got a pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans - they look fabulous, better by far than my regular jeans. BUT I'm told they cost £195 to buy new!!!!! Luckily I got mine on e-bay for £15.

top tip!

i have a pair from next over bump and a pair from blooming marvellous under bump.
I have to say the over bump ones are more comfy but no good until bump quite large. I do find I am pulling both pairs up though!
Am now 37 wks and over bump ones still comfy

just thought id add
i was in primark on tuesday and fgound some great 3/4 linen trousers in white/black/blue/or green

they are just normal trousers but have a huge wide/deep elasticated panel from bum to over most of bump unless you choose to fold down (which i think is how non pregnant women would wear them) they were only £6 i bought 2 pairs in size 16-18 but are so comfy and hoping they will last me the summer i am only 13 wks BTW but huge already so would fit most ladies from 20+ wks

i cant praise them enough i wear mine over my bump stops those nasty drafts when wearing all these fashionable smock tops
HTH

I think next do over the bump jeans for about £20ish. I agree with over the bump being the most comfortable and under the bump the most flattering. On the bump hurt my belly.

I like Next maternity jeans. I've got a long leg, and a Next 12L fits me perfectly. Most styles have a bit of Lycra in, so they have a bit stretch and are very comfy.
The under-bump ones with the stretch panels instead of front pockets are currently a bit loose for me (19+3 at the mo)so I have to wear a belt with them. The ones with ajustable elastic at the sides fit better and are so comfy they're a joy to wear.

helbo - that's what I paid for mine hence feeling peeved they really don;t suit me! That'll teach me for not trying them on before ripping out the labels!!!!!

mrs j i wasted money on not one but 2 pairs of useless and uncomfortable maternity jeans from Bloomin Marvellous....too lazy to take the damned things back so entirely my own fault.

could not bear to have any that came over my bump.

in the end got some non-maternity boy-cut jeans from top (slightly larger size than normal) shop which did up under bump and lasted me almost to the bitter end (and i did have a ridiculously low-slung and sticky out bump to the point where i felt like a bit of a freak)

Gap jeans are FAB! I have just bought the underbump city cut and even though I hardly have a bump yet they dont fall down at all. Bought them in the HIgh St Ken Gap, think they also do maternity in the Oxford st one. Not sure where else
