Hi everyone first baby here. I have the chance to go to France next week for a week and I really want to go but I’m anxious about what to do if I feel I need to get my baby checked out (which I did last week for the first time, related to kick count). I’ll be 31+3 when I go.

Does anyone have experience of this in France and know what or where I should familiarise myself with when I’m out there so that I don’t have last-minute panic if i feel like I need baby to be checked out again?

Many thanks in advance!

I had to go to hospital in France last month for reduced movements at 34weeks.
They were great and it was very straightforward. We called ahead but needn’t have. They Put me on a trace then scanned, also took some bloods. Overall not dissimilar to the uk. Do you speak French? Do you know where the nearest hospital is?
Happy to answer any specific questions.
