I went for a booking in appointment on the 18th and midwife said I should have a letter with my scan app in the next day or 2 but i'm still waiting?
How long did you have to wait between booking in app and the letter. I'm slightly over 12 weeks now and sooo damn excited I can't wait anymore!!

As soon as I registered as pregnant on the website at 6 weeks (in the south east) I received my 12 week Scan appt letter within a week.
I would contact someone as soon as possible as the nuchal measurements have to be taken before 13+6 weeks I think. You don’t know whether they’ve made you an appt and it may have gotten lost in the post x x

I'll give my midwife a call tomorrow, Hopefully she's not to hard to get a hold of :/
I thought I would've had the letter by now, i know it's only been a week but its a long time :/

If you can't speak to your midwife you should be able to call the scan dept. They aren't giving you much notice!

Where would I find there number? On the hospital website?
I know I just want to go get it sorted now, seems like everyone's dragging their heels with me :(

My manager doesn't even want to do a risk assessment until I get "confirmation from the scan" I mean haway

Any luck? Yes I would try the website or ring the hospital switchboard. I'd be worried you will miss your scan if a letter has gone missing or it will be too late for the tests etc. Good luck (hopefully you have heard already).

Ask your midwife. They'll be able to see what's been booked in the system (well they can in our area).

Any luck OP? I got my letter about a week after I saw the GP at eight weeks (for some reason GP has to make scan referrals where I live). I hope you get it sorted, if you are already 12 weeks then they will need to fit you in sharpish!

Regarding your manager, tell them to jog on and get on with your risk assessment. They don't need "confirmation" from a scan to get this done, you have notified them of your pregnancy and that's all the confirmation they need - and if you do a risky job then it should really be done ASAP!
