Wobble about highlights... thoughts?

So I’m in the hairdresser right now. I wasn’t brave enough to get my highlights done in my last pregnancy as I had such bad anxiety about everything after a mmc I just went 100% by the book.

I’ve done it this time. And I’m sitting here with balayage in my hair and it smells very bleachy (obvs!) and I’m worrying. With balayage it isn’t wrapped in foils so maybe that’s why I can smell more. Ugh. Always got the fear!!

It's fine to get hair coloured during pregnancy

Hi! NHS says it's safe to dye hair while pregnant so I really wouldn't worry.

Think of all the hairdressers who go through pregnancies and still have to dye people's hair!

It's more likely to just make you feel a bit yuck from the smell I imagine. If it helps you feel better many of my friends continued to get highlights and hair dyes done during their pregnancies and their babies are all healthy and happy now.
