How long did it take you to fall pregnant after copper IUD removal?

Sorry if this is a common post, I’m just so implantient . My first was not a planned pregnancy, had two miscarriages previous to her. She’s 17 months old, desperate for my second. I’m so afraid i won’t fall at all.. so how long between your IUD removal and a positive pregnancy test? Was it a healthy pregnancy I’ve heard so many horror stories of loss after the removal? And should I be doing anything to prepare to try to conceive? Thanks

Hi, I had my copper coil removed at the end of Nov/beginning of Dec last year and was very fortunate to be pregnant in January. Pregnancy so far has been going completely smoothly. I guess just start taking your folic acid from now! They didn’t give me any other advice apart from that

Had mine removed and found I was pregnant 2 weeks later. Feel very fortunate. Would recommend the copper IUD to anyone.

And I was also worried about loss after the removal- the nurse advised me to wait a month in case it ‘didn’t stick’, but we didn’t wait and I am now 31 weeks.
