Sudden increase in movements?

Been feeling baby move since 18 weeks, at first just every couple days and increasing to a wee woosh or tap 1-2 times per day. Suddenly today feels like baby's doing a proper Riverdance since this afternoon. Tapping, kicking, punching, turning, bubbles, butterflies, all of it. Will be calm for a couple hours but then a proper fete again. Had my anomaly scan on Fri, everything was alright then. Is this okay? Will my baby be this active going forwards? Or is she under stress?

As your baby gets bigger you can feel their movements more strongly. On the scan was the baby moving?

Thank you, yes baby moved a bit on the scan but can't believe all I'm feeling now! Felt a proper turn and could feel bony bits through my front tummy Blush

Sounds like you just have an active baby. Doesn't mean anything when they come out apparently it just means they are growing nice and healthy. Feeling limbs is normal. You maybe able to make out what they are later on. Oh and be careful what music you play loud as you may get more kicks/hits.
