this time - worked myself up into a panic at 8 weeks as I had no symptoms. Wishing I had have just enjoyed it by 10 weeks when the m/s kicked in

Goodluck with this pregnancy VV.

Drinkypops · 30/05/2007 11:45

Hi, like you I just had sore boobs, I didn't really get any sickness at all. I was exactly the same, thinking where are all my pregnancy symptons! I had a gorgeous daughter this January so try not 2 be paranoid (a lot easier said then done I know!!)

Sore boobs- constant aching abdomen but no sickness. Remember everyone is different and every pregnancy is different, so if you don't get morning sickness then enjoy it- there are many people who will be envious of you!!!!!!

Heightened sense of smell before I even realised I was pregnant (about 3.5 weeks). Then nothing much more until about 5-6 weeks when started getting food aversions including coffee and alcohol. And then nausea from about week 6 until now, at week 13 and finally starting to feel slightly better. Exhaustion set in about week 6 too. Boobs sore-ish but not as bad as first pregnancy.

Nbg · 30/05/2007 14:31

DD, I had sickness virtually the day after I got my BFP.

Ds, I had nothing

This one, sickness from about 6 weeks till 10 weeks.

bananabump · 30/05/2007 14:41

Didn't find out I was pg til about 10 weeks (had v irregular periods so wasn't worried til 2 months had passed!) and then realised that the "car sickness" I'd felt for a few weeks was probably ms but was never actually sick, it continued very mildly until about 15 weeks or so, mostly when I brushed my teeth.

It was just the total utter and complete mind numbing TIREDNESS that overtook me in the first trimester, I looked like shit, felt like shit, had a million coldsores, dry skin and spots, mostly because I didn't know I was pg so was eating crap and not looking after myself.

Someone on here once said that the sheer exhaustion you feel in the first trimester is because you're creating the placenta as well as the baby, and it was "like creating the field for a seed to grow in" which is why you need to get your rest and look after yourself already, even though you don't look pg yet, you will start to really feel knackered!

It's ok if you don't feel bad or tired though, don't assume there's something wrong when you stop feeling queasy!

beckmo · 30/05/2007 16:01

PMT symptons and crampy stomach from almost the moment I concieved (I remember this as I was devestated my period was coming again). Then nausea from the day before my period was due for 12 long weeks. As this thread shows everyone is different...and congratulations on your pregnancy!

akaJamiesMum · 30/05/2007 16:04

No symptoms at all - none - not a thing. Made me paranoid as hell due to a previous miscarriage but all was fine.

No symptoms until my contractions started at 39 weeks! (apart from big belly of course!). I was really worried too as everyone was telling me I should be feeling sick, tired, craving weird food, etc. Its impossible not to worry but hopefully it just means you'll have an easy pregnancy. Good luck (and congratulations!)

VictorVictoria · 30/05/2007 16:21

Thank you all so much. My main problem (apart fromt he fact that I have had to m/c) is that I have DS 23 months and when I was pregnant with him I felt awful pretty much from the moment I found out I was pregnant at 4.5 weeks

VV repeatsd matra:- "Every pregnancy is different, every pregnancy is different..."

my first symptom was outbreak of zits on my face - coulnd't believe it, i am VERY lucky with my skin and never get spots. So I knew something was up.
Plus a killer headache for no reason.
all that within about a day of missing my period.
then nothing for a couple of weeks.
then awful nausea, throwing up and headaches/migraines which got progressively worse until week 16 when suddenly i was back to lovely health again!
started getting plump about week 12.

Ooh yep insomnia for me too. Did a lot of queasyness and sense of smell picked up.

Went crazily neurotic and insisted on doing pregnancy tests every five minutes to prove I was still pregnant (I had a m/c previously too).

By six weeks I was barmy. Midwife took me on one side and said - you just need to get to 12 weeks and count it down in days and you'll be fine. There is nothing you can do either way.

Sort of helped me! : )

francagoestohollywood · 30/05/2007 21:37

I started to feel really sick the day after I found out, at about six weeks I think (had very long cycle). Sore boobs. Very tired and sleepy. good luck with the pregnancy vv.

CorrieDale · 30/05/2007 21:42

Period pain with both from before my period was due. I was sick with DS from week 6 till week 11. With this one, the sickness was very off and on until week 14 - so much so, I thought at 6 weeks I'd had another missed m/c, and could hardly believe it when a scan at 6+3 showed a heartbeat. Have you thought about an early scan?
