Am 35 weeks today and for the last week I’ve had the most horrendous swelling in my right arm and hand, I have numb finger tips a lot of the time and a lot of tingling and pins and needles. Still have my grip and can use hand but it’s affecting things like opening bottles, drying my hair, doing my make up etc.
Midwife said it sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome and it’s quite common in pregnancy due to the fluid build up.

Anyone have any amazing hacks for reducing the swelling / fluid / pain etc.

I haven’t got a splint yet but going to do that as soon as I’m back from my work trip in a couple of days.

Other than ice packs and massage, any good things to try? It’s absolutely killing my upper arm today, really achy and horrible.

Feeling totally bleurgh about it all. I’m just so swollen everywhere in general anyway but now this! Sad

No amazing hacks sorry but 34 weeks and struggling with the same thing. Running your hands / wrists under warm water and stretching sort of helps.
