ive just found out im pregnant for this first time at 25 weeks and its been a blur. i have been fairly ill although everything is ok now and any signs i had put down to being ill and not taking care of myself.

my partner and I are very happy but i am very worried. i havent had a 12 week or anomaly scan yet and am being booked in for those.

i had a scan which showed baby moving, heartbeat, placenta and water good.

im shocked and have not much time to prepare. dont know what to expect. want everything to be ok. tried to get a private scan booked but very little availability in my area.

My main question is at 25 weeks am I too late for an anomaly scan? I'm very worried.

any advice is welcome. please

Just thought I'd say try not to worry! They will do all the scans they can and I'm sure baby is fine in there! Watch a few episodes of I didn't know I was pregnant and you'll soon feel better!
Good luck and keep us updated :)

I had my '20 week' scan but I am a lot further on than that and so there are 'limits' to what they can see but they said they don't think there's anything to worry about. I would like more reassurance but I think that's as much as I'm going to get. Very anxious and wish I could be happy as I want the baby so much. Just so worried

I got a pm from you @Ratbagratty but I can't see it on phone. As soon as I can get onto computer I will check xxxx
