Anomaly Scan

I have my scan on Wednesday and I will 19+3. I am excited to see the baby and finally hear the heart beat but I am really anxious and so is my partner. We both trying to focus on seeing and hearing a healthy baby.

Regardless of anything being wrong we intend to continue with the pregnancy my friends grandmother always said special kids are given to those who have the skills and ability to cope after she gave birth to a son who has downs year ago when she was only 24.

I just feel really anxious and barely sleeping due to it.

I think I can feel baby move at night and had heavy feeling in my stomach today which I have read is normal and my belly is growing which I think is good signs.

Anyone else felt like this before this scan?

I’m on my third pregnancy, I wasn’t particularly worried at all about the anomaly scan with my first 2 but I’m 17+2 with my third now and feeling really anxious for some reason. I think maybe I’m more anxious this time as my older DC (4 and 3) know about the pregnancy, whereas DD1 was only 14 months when I had my anomaly scan with DD2.
Anyway mine isn’t for 3 weeks so trying to take my mind off it! I’m not generally an anxious person so this is new to me!

Oh and I’m definitely showing (which is why we had to tell my older DC... well they guessed!) and I feel movement but I know there is a lot that could still go wrong.
