Anyone suffer with coldsores during pregnancy?

I'm 13 wks and have got a coldsore - is it safe to use coldsore lotions? I really don;t want to get a big blooming sore on my lip but really don't want to harm the little 'un either! Anyone know if it's safe?

nip into a chemists and ask about the new invisible stick on coldsore treatments. My friend used them and siad they was brilliant hers went over night. Never had them in pregnancy. Sorry

also nail varnish remover on a q-tip is brilliant!
