I hope this is in the right place!
I’m 25weeks+3 with my first baby.
I had a glucose test on Wednesday, and have just got back from a weekend away to a letter saying a group appointment has been made for me on Wednesday this week, so clearly I have GD.
I’ve been reading up on it and already feel terrified and guilty.
My question is, I have a holiday booked for this Thursday (26weeks, and the day after my appointment) and I’m worried that I shouldn’t be flying and should cancel? Obviously I can’t wait and ask on Wednesday really, so just wondering if anyone knows if it is safe?
Also I’m only taking hand luggage as I’m staying with family, but I’m not sure what I will need to take with me in regards to anything I might be given on Wednesday to test blood sugar? If it is safe for me to fly, will I need to pay for a case, as I will have very limited space in my hand luggage case.
Sorry for all the questions, any advice would be brilliant because my head is spinning right now!
