HELP! CHEMICAL EXPOSURE?

I've been cleaning all day with vinegar solution from Wilco and then wiping down with chlorine bleach solution (half walter/half bleanch.) Just looked this up and apparently releases toxic chlorine gas??? I'm not feeling ill and didn't notice any odours but could I have harmed the baby?? Windows are opeened.

I don't really understand. Was it just bog standard household cleaning products or some concoction you made yourself?

You should be absolutely fine. If you are exposed to chlorine gas in amounts enough to do harm your eyes and mucous membranes (nose etc) would be stinging. I’ve done it in the lab a few times and yeah, you notice!

For future reference: Never mix bleach with any other cleaner and don’t mix cleaners.

If you aren't feeling any ill effects then the baby should be fine too. Particularly if there was a gap between using the first cleaner and then wiping down with bleach.

Not a good idea to mix those two in the future though. One or the other!
