Hyperpigmentation legs

I think I'm suffering from hyper-pigmentation on my legs! Does this go away soon after delivery? My skin seems to be like a purple colour. Never suffered with anything like this before and my stretch marks are very dark red/purple shade kinda hard to see on the photo but they just seem darker than they were before x

I've a friend who is a dermatologist. Apparently the extra blood supply can make scars, moles,birth marks etc. all seem darker/ more intense in colour during pregnancy.
