When did you get your first scan ?

Hi everyone.
First timer here 😊.
I have my first GP appointment tomorrow, I'm very excited but nervous too ! I'm still very early, 5 Weeks.

When did you all get your first scan ?
& when did you announce your pregnancy to family & friends ?

I am very impatient 🙈😄

I had a scan at 8 weeks-ish. I booked a private scan because I was super anxious and sure there was something wrong (there wasn't) and it reassured me! The. I had a dating scan at about 13 weeks and an anomaly scan at 23 weeks-ish.

I told folk at different times too. Told my mum and best pal straight away and the rest at about 8 weeks or whenever I saw them.

I didn't need to see the go either.

Booking appointment with midwife at 8 weeks.

Scan at 12 weeks, then we told everyone.

Scan at 20 weeks for anomalies and sex.

Now 29 weeks!

I'm going to stick to my gp appointment today.
I have an existing heart condition so I think it's best to go there first. What's the harm 😊
Excited & nervous to get the ball rilling today, might feel more real 😐

I'm having a scan at 10w cos it's combined with the harmony / vision test.

Re gp, it seems to vary. I phoned and asked if it was necessary (it's my second pregnancy) and they said yes I needed to get referred that way.
