Hi there , I'm beyond confused right now... so I did two cheap pregnancy tests.. both came back positive, went to the doctors and the lady asked for a urine sample, took her test and told me it was negative.. I then left the doctors, bought two clear blue digital tests and did one that night and one first thing in the morning... the first one said 2-3 weeks and the morning one said 1-2 weeks... I've left it for a week now and took another pregnancy test which has also come back positive?? I'm unsure as to what to do next.. the doctor I saw was really rude to me and was actually quite patronising ... Do I go back to the doctors? Am I actually pregnant?? I really don't know what the next move is... Please help!!

We just have to wait until we're 6 weeks here and then make an appointment directly with the midwifery team. The doctors don't care where I live.

It sounds like you are only very early at the moment, and I don’t think the ones at the doctors are SUPER sensitive.

I would take another test in a week (just to be on the safe side) and then call the reception at your GP surgery and ask what the procedure is. If you have to see a GP for referral, ask to see a different one.

Wait a week and do another test... the one at the Drs wont have been the first wee of the day so they can come back negative in early pregnancy if they're not the first wee of the day.

I was convinced I was pregnant from symptoms, did a test in the evening and it was negative, the next morning did another test and it was positive. Now I'm sitting here impatiently waiting for this little baby who is currently kicking my bladder! to decide to arrive in the next couple of weeks!!

Yeah no need to go to a GP unless you've complicated medical issues. Hold out, wait a week and take another test - it's not until about 6 weeks you have to inform a midwife so your first appointment is around 8. No rush. Good luck!

Okay.. thank you all, sooo 10 pregnancy tests later and a trip to the doctors.. Apparently I'm now 9 weeks pregnant... Only thing now is I'm experiencing some brown stringy discharge when I wipe.. Read a lot of things online that say this is normal.. it's just old blood... just wondering if any of you ladies had the same problem? xxxx

Keep notes of when, how much and what colour the bleeding is (perhaps in a notes page on your phone or there's great pregnancy apps which you can add notes to the calendar) but try not to stress and worry.

Medically, bleeding can be very normal or it can be signs of an issue - there's no way of telling from one instance.

Best wishes

I had a little bleed at 11 weeks - mostly brown with a few red bits. I'm 29 weeks now and have had nothing since. I think it was just a bit of wastage. Flowers

Hi ladies, ended up going to the hospital because I was in so much pain, could barely walk... they think it could be a miscarriage , so going for a scan today to find out :( , has anyone else been through this? I'm worried about what happens next.
