Sickness at 10 weeks

This is my first preganancy and up until now I’ve been okay..ish. I’ve had waves of nausea and the odd gagging at smells, but I’ve managed to eat and carry on as normal. This morning however I woke at 5.30 and spent the next half hour being sick! I’ve not been sick since but I feel nauseous and I have zero energy. Any one else had sickness this late? I’m hoping it’s a one off or at least gone by the second trimester. I have a demanding job and I am going to really struggle feeling like this at work.

Could it be something you ate or a bit of a bug? I’ve never had as many sickness bugs as I did when pregnant, must be the immune system a bit low :(
I guess you might have to wait and hope!

Thank you! I hope so. I felt better this afternoon then it came back before I had my dinner. Once I’d eaten i felt better. Got a packet of ginger biscuits by my bed so hopefully I can snaffle one before I get up in the morning. Did you find anything helped?

I don’t think so lilyblue. My stomach was empty so I wasn’t bringing much up. (Sorry for the info!)

How are you feeling now OP?

Wrigglet · 23/07/2018 22:15

Thanks for checking in... I haven’t been sick again but first thing in the morning and last thing at night I feel really nauseous. From about 6pm onwards is the worst. I’ve ordered some travel sickness bands so hopefully they will help. Good news is we have a scan today and baby is really active! Lots of moving around and waving! It was so cute. I’m taking the sickness as a good sign. X

@wrigglet, glad you are feeling ok, the sickness is exhausting but glad you aren’t being sick anymore.
I’m 4/5 weeks with baby no 3 and just starting to feel nauseous. Even worse when I’m hungry!
How exciting re scan! It’s amazing to see, just wait for the 20 week one, it’s so incredible! I’ve got an early one booked in for two weeks time!
Good luck 🙂
