Headaches on back of head.

I'm 15 weeks pg and keep getting horrid headaches on the lower half of the back of my head for the last couple of weeks. Some times a couple of paracetamol works, other times it hasn't shifted it.

I've been putting the headaches down to the warm weather, not sleeping well etc but don't know if I should be more concerned? I rarely get headaches in general, and when I do they are forehead/temples tension type headaches so different area to these.

I think you should see your gp.
Just to be safe.

If they're in the 2 'lumps' on the base of the back of your skull, they're to do with posture and progesterone loosening your muscles. Apparently. My GP said he sees at least 2 pregnant women about it a week.

Could be referred pain from knotted muscles down in your shoulders, which you might not even feel if it's really deep. As @FuckMyUterus says, progesterone makes muscles and ligaments do weird things. Get your DP to push his thumbs into the muscles of your shoulder blades (or try yourself if you can reach!) to see if there's tension there. If so, book yourself a nice back, neck and shoulder massage from someone qualified for pregnancy.
