I gave birth on the 15th and have noticed my legs and feet have REALLY blown up? Could this have something to do with the epidural I had or is this normal? They are bigger than they ever was during pregnancy

Contact 111 or the maternity ward and ask for advice. I wouldn't leave it.
Hope it gets sorted xx

You can develop Preeclampsia postnatally. Best to get checked x

Definitely get checked out just to be sure but I also had this after my son. The midwives told me there is still a lot of excess fluid in your body after giving birth and it takes a while for your body to expel it. Mine all settled in my feet and I had to wear my boyfriends slippers for a few weeks as I couldn’t fit into any normal shoes.

I also had swollen feet for a few days after giving birth. Can be perfectly normal

I had v swollen legs after epidural. Mine was just excess fluid (from the drip they also gave me).

For excess fluid try and lie on the floor with your legs elevated so that they are higher than your heart and lie there for 20 mins or do. I did this a few times a day for a few days and it went away quite quickly.

I had that after my section, the nurse said it was nothing to worry about, and they went back to normal after a few days. But if they're not getting better, or if they're getting worse I'd definitely get them checked out

My whole body inflated after giving birth, like the Michelin man. I don't know if it's normal but I was told to keep moving and that would help it shift. Also peed gallons at that point so extra fluid makes sense.
