Pco and early pregnancy

Sorry in advance for the long post but I'm really desperate for advice.

I have been trying to conceive for 2 years and have recently (2 weeks ago) had 4 positive pregnancy tests. Made a doctors appointment to confirm this 2 weeks ago and was started on folic acid. I had hcg blood tests over a week ago. First set hcg levels were 702 and 48 hours later they have risen to 2790. Had a scan the same day and a small sac was visible and uterus was thickening. Had another scan today and the sac has increased by 2mm and a yolk is now visible however still no baby. I have another scan in 11 days to checm progress.
They think I am around 5-6 weeks. Is this normal or should I expect bad news?

Sounds pretty standard to me and if your HCG ate rising, then that's definitely a positive. You probably won't be able to see a heart beat until baby is 7 weeks plus, and then you may only see it via a virginal ultrasound. Good luck op!

Both of my scans have been vaginal as to early to see anything the other way. I'm just really anxious as was really hoping to say baby this time around. I also have pco so possible ovulated later than originally thought. Fingers crossed.

Mine went very similar.

First scan couldn't see anything, next scan saw yolk sac, third saw baby with heartbeat. I'm 17 weeks now.

How far were you on your first 3 scans if you don't mind me asking?

So early!

I have PCOS and ovulated a week later so when I popped into the dr they assumed I was further along.

So first scan was 14dpo and literally nothing on screen.

Second scan was at 5+6 with yolk sac

Both vaginal.

Third was 7+2 where we saw heart beat.

I could definitely be earlier than i think. Hoping the next scab in 11 days shows baby possibly with heartbeat. The scan I have today had increased in size from last week and yolk had appeared but no baby yet. Just feeling very nervous. Think I'm reading to much into it and expecting the worst.

I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant with my clomid baby. Having Pcos sucks but I wish you all the best and hope you get your happy ending ❤️
