Hi ladies,

I can't believe Im saying this, but after two years of trying, I got theshocl of my life yesterday with a BFP!! So much so, I checked again this morning and got another one Grin

I cant explain how happy i am but i've also started spotting today too which I know can be normal, but I'm feeling a bit nervous. I'm sure a lot of you have gone through similar things, so I guess I'm just looking for a bit of reassurance Smile

I have a drs appointment today so fingers crossed everything is ok xxx

I bled enough in the early days to make me think I was actually on my period. Whilst it's not "normal" it's most definitely common. Congratulations!

Thank you!

My GP sent me up to A&E as a precaution and after a few hours they send me home and told me to come back for ascan in the morning. Fingers crossed that all is ok.

Congrats!! I had implantation bleeding which happened at almost exactly the same time when my period would have come. I spotted for at least 3 days, the third of which was heavy enough to use a tampon and I was 100% convinced it was my period starting because it also came with the same cramps and headaches. Then it went away but I usually have 1-2 periods a year just like that (spotting, then nothing, then period) so it didn't fully sink in that I could be pregnant until 2 weeks later when it became clear that my period was definitely late.

I had spotting/bleeding up until about 16 weeks. Whilst not normal it was ok in my case and I now have a healthy 7 week old DD (admittedly my pregnancy was by no means text book!)

In my first pregnancy, I had spotting with cramps at 6.5 weeks and miscarried. With this pregnancy, I had spotting between 6-8 weeks that freaked me out but no cramping and all is fine, currently 17 weeks.

I hope the scan showed all was okay for you. I know what it's like. Good luck.

Thanks for all your replies ladies. So the scan on Friday didn't show anything so the dr said its just too early. Had a blood test and I've just had another one this morning so got to go back to EPU tomorrow, but thankfully the spotting stopped on Friday afternoon. Let's see what EPU say tomorrow x

I spotted between 6-8/9 weeks and had a day of spotting a couple of days ago at 11 weeks, nervously waiting for 12 week scan next Tuesday, was referred back to epu on Friday but heard nothing from them :(
