I am on holiday staying in a lovely cottage surrounded by fields of sheep/lambs. I am in no direct contact with them but have suddenly remembered the whole toxo risk and have worked myself up into quite a state. I am being crazy aren’t I?!!

I’m 17 weeks pregnant and live next to a field full of sheep and lambs Smile. Just don’t touch them, and wash your hands if you’re in close contact.

As long as you don't lick them.... Grin relax and enjoy your lovely holiday.

Don’t forget lots of people live on working farms and have babies without any harm coming to them. The main risk is being actively involved in lambing and coming in to contact with after birth / dead lambs. Lambing was ages ago and sheep in a field really don’t pose you any risk at all.

Not licking the sheep is good advice.....

I live surrounded by sheep farms too. Not going to be a problem. Relax and enjoy the countryside!
