Everythingi eat i throw up.

Spent the past hour on and off vomitting up my fave crisps...

My list is ever growing of things I can't stomach (am 9 weeks)

I can stomach cereal but need good meals (Nothing that needs to be prepped and cook as heat also makes.me.dizzy and pass out lol)!

So...s.o.s ladies. Need help! What do you eat in a normal day?

I survived on rice crispies, cucumber and apples for the first 3 months.
Just eat what you can for now, it should settle down soon.

firsttimebabybirther · 19/07/2018 00:32

Honestly when I was at this stage in my pregnancy I had to just eat whatever felt the easiest to throw up Blush

polkadotpixie · 19/07/2018 08:00

I lived on plain pasta, mash potato & salt & vinegar crisps at that stage. I gave up on actual meals as there was no way I could stomach them

If you're suffering badly see your doctor. I was on anti sickness meds from 7-16 weeks (Promethazine) which took the edge off and is perfectly safe

Stephisaur · 19/07/2018 08:28

I loved off chicken nuggets from McDonalds and sandwiches at this point.

There was about a week where I ate cereal for every meal. It was quick, easy and stayed down! Don't think it's not a good enough meal - any food is better than nothing!

Hope you feel better soon x

CarlyJayne1987 · 19/07/2018 12:30

Thanks guys.

I'm heading to the supermarket when this sickness wave finishes for more cereal. As long as I eat something it's better than nothing.

I seem to vomit more at night now which is weird. But feel sick all day. Just need to crack on and make sure I'm near a bush when i go out EnvyBlush

Cheese sandwiches on white bread for about three months

SiolGhoraidh · 19/07/2018 12:36

I lived on ginger biscuits and salad in the early days of this pregnancy. Had to think very hard about how whatever I ate would feel like coming up (spicy crisps were particularly awful). I ate a lot of ready meals like macaroni cheese, scones, brioche... loads of bland beige carbs really!

Having a decent stash of good quality dog poo bags on hand was also useful for nausea attacks. If it becomes that debilitating though talk to your midwife or GP about getting some meds.

CarlyJayne1987 · 19/07/2018 13:08

I have the bag!! It's an asda bag haha.

Luckily I have zero shame and will throw up in a bush (I live rural!)... if I need to lol.

Roll on 12 weeks.

Thanks for the tips ladies . Off to buy boring stuff now x

I'm a bit of an odd one I think. The only way to sort my nausea/sickness out is to eat (almost constantly!!) and I only want rich, flavourful food - nothing bland or dry (dry crackers make my gag!). I'm eating a lot of cheese-related foodstuffs and I've had far too many trips to the Golden Arches already this pregnancy. I had a massive baguette with salad, bacon and avocado for lunch, which sounds ridiculous, but it hit the spot. If I eat too much then that makes me feel sick, but also not enough makes me feel sick - it's a bit of a balancing act. Also if I try to eat anything that I don't "fancy" at the time then I can't stomach it. It's very weird.

CarlyJayne1987 · 19/07/2018 16:32

I managed q cheese sandwich which was lovely.

Then stupidly ate a Cadbury yoghurt pot...Just flushed that down the toilet. What a Muppet.

Will try the baguette. Had a craving for chicken and white baguette from asda. You know the packet stuff not from the deli??

Roll on after birth ...will be eating a rare steal and never be ungrateful about food again hahahaha

I’ll join you for a steak Carly 😂

And some pâté 😂

It does pass eventually x

CarlyJayne1987 · 19/07/2018 18:33

Can't wait. Not being ungrateful at all. Just have zero energy due to no food!!

Managed some toast
So far. Mabey will have ginger biscuits later. That will be about it !!

Mainly just white carbs for the first three months. I think that's pretty standard!

WhirlingTurkey · 19/07/2018 18:38

I would give my left leg for a blue fillet steak right now!!

bluebird3 · 19/07/2018 18:44

All I want is Philadelphia. Philadelphia on tuc crackers, on bagels, on toast. Salad is making me gag.

ragged · 19/07/2018 18:58

chocolate, fizzy sugary drinks, chocolate flavoured soy things (pregnancy made me lactose intolerant), crisps. Some pregnancies all I could eat was humus & guacamole or tuna-mayo; other pregnancies I couldn't have garlic at all. last pregnancy I finally went completely off chocolate Confused. I've never been the same about food since, tbh.

Tori3535 · 19/07/2018 20:23

I lived on cereal, slices of cheese, jelly and flat coke.
And freezer bags were my best friend for vomiting.
Mine passed at 16 weeks, hopefully you don't have too long to go!

fizzledays · 21/07/2018 07:09

I felt queasy as HELL the other day, 5th day in a row, but I suddenly really fancied a dominos pepperoni pizza. I demolished it and haven't felt queasy since. The body is a weird thing!!! (9+6)
