Doctors letter for flying with easy jet

I'm 28 weeks and am going to be flying to on Friday, I can't get an appointment with the doctor before this but Easy Jet's website says that I need to have a letter, I'm not very big at all for 28 weeks so do you think I can get away with it and not have a letter? Have any of you been asked for your letter?

I flew with easyjet when I was about at the same number of weeks. I got a letter from my gp - which I had to pay for - but never got the chance to show it to anyone, no one ever asked. I still would get one if I were you, you would beat yourself up if they told you you couldn't get onboard. Can't you tell your gp it's an emergency ?

I asked for priority boarding the other week with easyjet and they asked me how many weeks I was then. I was only 26 so didn't need a letter but was quite big so could easily have been 28 weeks. I don't see how they could check really. I guess it's just if something were to go wrong they would say you hadn't told them?? (Not that anything will, I'm sure!)

When you told them you were only 26 weeks did they just let you on. I guess if I just say I am only 26 weeks, they have no way of proving that i'm not do they?

Yes- they just wrote on the boarding card '26 weeks pregnant'.
Actually- at Gatwick they asked and I was 24 and they wrote that on. On the way back from Italy I was 26 weeks and I can't actually remember if they asked the number of weeks.
BA definately asked last week when I was 27 weeks. I am flying with them again at 32 weeks so guess will have to get a letter then (Listen to me- I sound like a jetsetter!)Had better book my doctor's appointment now..

I got one from my midwife - flew with ryanair. Was never asked to produce it but, judging by her expression, I'm sure security woman at Rome thought I had something stuffed up my top.
