Leaking milk already?!!

Hi, I'm expecting my second child, and I'm 21 weeks pregnant. I was horrified the other day to discover I'm leaking milk from my breasts already!!! In my pregrancy that didn't happen until at least the third trimester. Am I normal?!!

Yes you are normal (well, as normal as me and a good few thousand other women anyhow!). Milk can leak from breasts as early as around 16 weeks in pregnancy- it does not mean LO is about to be born so don't worry!! Usually leaking will happen at night when hormones peak but can also happen during the day. With DS I started leaking at 16 weeks and with DC2 I've been leaking since 17 weeks on & off (I'm 32 weeks now)! I think I am just born to breastfeed, or as DP says must have been a dairy cow in my previous life!

Yes thats normal. I leaked when I was about 21 wks with my first. In the night.

totally normal, you might want to get some breast pads and a soft bra to sleep in, i used to wake up soaked from about 30 weeks..

I started at about 18 weeks so all normal!
I'd say invest in some washable breast pads- I don't leak every night so putting disposable ones in would be a waste.
