Nausea coming and going? Normal?

Hi everyone.

I'm currently 6w 2d after suffering a missed miscarriage in April (I was supposed to be 12 weeks but a scan revealed baby had died at six weeks, so this is an anxious time).

Is it normal for nausea to come and go? I get waves of severe nausea every day that last around 30 minutes, then I'll feel fine for a few hours, then really sick again, ect.

I'm getting way more symptoms than I did last time (the nausea, when it comes, is way worse and my boobs are super sensitive and sore which they weren't last time), but I get worried when I've been feeling fine for a while! It's weird, when I feel really sick I want it to end, but as soon as it does I worry Grin

I've got a scan booked for next week which will hopefully offer some reassurance.

Thanks Smile

Hi @CobaltRose,

Just read your post and couldn't read and skip! Sending lots of air ((hugs)) 🌺 about your MC.... and I can't even begin to imagine how your feeling at the moment!
But I don't have a lot to go by as this is my first baby but I am 5 weeks 5 days and feel exactly the same.... The sickness started yesterday, but I haven't actually been sick, I just keep feeling bloody awful like you said and then it goes away.... I think we all feel like this and it's completely normal to!!

I've actually been taking cheap Internet tests to see a line to keep convincing myself I'm still pregnant 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ I know it must sound funny but I think we all cope and deal with things differently!

My sister once said to me that a plus side to the nausea and sore boobs is at least your body's producing the hormones to make you feel those things, so that must be a good sign!

I hope all goes well next week at the scan, at least that will hopefully put your mind at rest a little... we've just booked a private 8 weeks scan!

Sending lots of love your way 😌❤️
