When will my bump show/overweight

Hi everyone. I will be exactly 16 weeks tomorrow with my first and just wondering when peoples bumps usually start to show if you are overweight. I had lost 7lb before we realised I was pregnant and so far gained 5lb of that back, so technically still 2lb down since we conceived, but none the leas probably around 2 stone more than ideal. I think I am just feeling bloated rather than having a bump but really have no idea if I will get a bump yet or just look really bloated/overweight as normal.

I’m 18 weeks and mine is beginning to round out now (first pregnancy, BMI 30+).

Wearing maternity clothes definitely helps make you feel like it’s more baby than food baby, whereas I just feel fat in regular clothes sized up.

Thanks Stephisaur, I feel in between at the moment regular jeans are too tight now but wore maternity jeans today and they felt too big, the bump belt came right up to my bra! I think I just feel conscious as to whether people will think I look fat rather than pregnant at the moment Lol x

Yep, definitely know that feeling! I’ve been folding the bump bit down a little bit so that it’s not so baggy.

I bought some cute slogan t shirts such as “we’re hoping for a stegosaurus” to hopefully give people a clue!

Hi! I'm 26 weeks and still feel like I just look fat and not pregnant but people keep saying "wow bump is really coming out now" especially when I wear certain dresses.
I asked my DP regularly whether I looked fat or pregnant and I think he was too scared to answer 😂

I had a BMI of just less than 30 when I got preggers, currently 17 weeks. My bump started to become obvious about 3 weeks ago, although I realise it's mainly partly fat! Last week I was on the tube and people were offering me their seats so I guess I look obviously pregnant already.

I was pretty over weight when I was pregnant and started to have a little bump around 19 weeks, I will upload a picture of me at 26 weeks and 36 weeks! You will definitely look pregnant :) I didn't think I would and kept saying I don't have a bump lol x
