Awful bumps on bikini line

Sooo I've been suffering from red bumps on my bikini area I assume from shaving. I haven't shaved for around two weeks and the bumps are still there but they are turning a purple colour does this mean there healing? I've been cleaning the area once a day with unscented soap then applying sudocrem on afterwards but it's not doing anything! I don't think this heat and wearing pads is helping as I'm constantly sweating and wet down thee due to discharge and with me not shaving the area becomes itching when I'm out and about walking :( I'm also limited as to what I can use with being pregnant. Anyone no any safe remedies? That work! I'm due to give birth next week and just want my area to look some what okay.

Could be ingrown hairs? Not sure what you'd do for it though, maybe exfoliate but you wouldn't want to get it infected. I don't think purple is a healing colour.

I haven't checked if its allowed in pregnancy although their hair removal cream is so I wouldnt see why not but get down to boots and get a bottle of nads ingrown hair solution. I swear by it as I suffer from bikini line bumps a lot. Purple means ingrown hair and possible infection (but only minor, don't worry!). Normally the hairs work their way out eventually but it's painful and itchy until they do! Nads isn't an overnight solution but it will speed up the process. If I have an issue I rub a bit in everytime I go to the loo! Once you have gotten over the rash this time, next time you shave down there use this straight away and every morning and evening. It stops any rash forming in the first place (or at least drastically reduces it!). I don't work for nads by the way haha just massively rate this product!

Are you sure it's not a varicose vein? I got one with pregnancy that started on the lip and looked like a little purple spots and got worse as pregnancy went on.

Was going to suggest varicose veins too. I was shocked you could get them there to be honest.

You have started many threads on your bikini line/thighs/skin issues over the last few weeks and so far I've not commented.

I and others have however suggested to you before in relation to some of your other non bikini line related posts (custard etc) that you need to speak to your midwife in relation to your anxious/obsssive thought processes. Have you done that?

No one is going to care what your bikini line looks like when you give birth, honestly.

After you have given birth you won't have time care either.

What support do you have in real life?

@pastabest

Stop being a fucking bitch 😂 yes I have spoke to my midwife! I can post whatever I like. This is for people with genuine answers on what works. You know nothing about me or my life so shut the fuck up 😂 Jesus!

Yes well that's pretty much the repsonse I was expecting based on your previous similar posts when people have suggested that your thought processes are worrying.

Glad you are getting support from your midwife. I wish you the best of luck with your newborn.
