Saw my OB on Monday, had scan also. Baby looks to be all fine, but she said I have a large hernia on my tummy. Didn't seem overly concerned but said it could be why I've been so swollen and tender lately.
Due to other medical conditions I am being induced this Monday at 38 weeks + 2 days.
I have a horrible cough too at the moment, if I'm not coughing, I'm sneezing. So constant pressure on my stomach making it 10 times worse. Today have a nasty taste of blood in my mouth. Nothing coming up, just a horrible taste every time I cough.
Anyone else know how I can deal with this hernia until Monday or has anyone had one and is there anything I need to look out for? My midwife is on holiday so can't ask her, and don't want to call triage as I'm coming in on Monday anyways.
